Useless information of the day:
My own birthday is squeezed between the birthdays of David Lynch and Jim Jarmush, and happens to coincide with Cecil B. DeMille’s death/Ken Leung’s birthday. Also today, Jeanne Moreau turns 81.

Does snuff exist? →
A great documentary from a British series called The Dark Side of Porn. This doesn’t deal with porn at all, but rather with the phenomenon of snuff films, going back to the video nasties of the 80’s. Features interview with directors such as Eli Roth and Ruggero Deodato. A true must-watch. Watch the 5 parts on Youtube by clicking above.

Tron
the remainder of the Friday the 13th and A Nightmare on Elm Street franchises
the remainder of the Saw franchise
a lot of Video Nasties such as Fulci’s The Beyond or Craven’s The Last House of the Left

Goddamn you scratched DVD.
I guess I’ll just watch some more Grey’s Anatomy. I woke up early to watch A Night to Remember but I guess that’ll have to wait because my copy is scratched and stops playing 30 minutes in. Maybe I’ll pick it up again, if I do a Titanic double-feature. That’d be painfully pleasant.
