Guess who came across an unexpected amount of cash and bought CRONOS today!? Damn straight! This might just be the greatest single-disc edition I’ve seen. Seriously:
- Cover and interior art by MIKE FUCKING MIGNOLA!
- Two audio commentaries, one featuring del Toro, the other producers Arthur H. Gorson and Bertha Navarro and coproducer Alejandro Springall
- Geometria,an unreleased 1987 short horror film by del Toro, finished in 2010, with a new video interview with the director
- Welcome to Bleak House,a video tour by del Toro of his home offices, featuring his personal collections
- New video interviews with del Toro, Navarro, and actor Ron Perlman

So pleased!!! Del Toro’s note are the best: characters biographies, notes for his crew on the gothic, lighting and alchemy! I’m in heaven. I’m also getting my Criterions of In the Realm of Senses and Empire of Passion tomorrow! 4 new Criterions in less than a week is too good to be true, considering I was broke as hell for most of the week.
